At Tropical Dental, all of our Crowns & Bridges are made in the United States by a Dawson® Accredited Dental Laboratory using German Zirconia to ensure the highest quality.

Our patients are provided with an option range from High Strength Zirconia (1500 MPa Compressive Strength) — ideal for heavy biting forces found on the back teeth — to Multi-Shaded Translucent Aesthetic Zirconia for the front teeth, which give a beautiful & natural appearance.

Veneers are cosmetic restorations of the front surface of the tooth, taking it back to a natural appearance.

Veneers can conceal a wide range of aesthetic imperfections, including chips, cracks, spaces/gaps, & discoloration and, in certain instances, can be a cost-effective alternative to a crown.

At Tropical Dental, our resin veneers are done using nano-composites with multi-layering techniques, to give the best possible aesthetic appearance.

At times, there is the need to include Dental Implants or FASTBRACES® Orthodontics into your treatment to achieve the best possible aesthetic result.

Computer Guided Implant surgery is the modern alternative to traditional implant surgery for replacing missing teeth.

This method makes use of advanced technology such as high resolution digital cone beam CT scans and 3D intra-oral scans to help position implants with extreme accuracy, avoiding many of the typical surgical complications.

Guided implant dentistry has consistently been found to be much more accurate than traditional implant placement, as well as have a much higher success rate, as the implants can be properly positioned to withstand occlusal forces.

As this procedure is much less invasive, you can also expect much faster recovery times, with little to no post-op pain compared to traditional implants.

Traditional Implant Surgery (Non-Guided)

Computer Guided Implant Placement

• Small incision (usually 3–5mm in diameter)
• NO stitches needed
• NO need to be re-cut — healing collars placed at time of surgery
• Little to NO pain post-op from surgical site to be expected

A dental bone graft is a type of minor oral surgery that increases the volume and density of the bone in your jaw.

The procedure is usually done:

1. Immediately after an extraction, to prevent/minimize bone loss in the area for future implant placement, or to prevent bone defects.
2. When there is a bone defect (not enough bone width or height) which would result in an insufficient bone foundation to place an implant, or proper bone contour for an aesthetic dental bridge.

Bone grafts usually need 3–12 months to heal completely depending on the individual, before an implant can then be placed.

A Computer Guided Sinus Lift is a minimally invasive procedure that aims to increase the amount of bone in the upper jaw by elevating the sinus membrane indirectly through the crestal ridge.

This procedure is typically performed when there is not enough bone height under the maxillary sinus to support dental implants. The procedure can often be done at the same time dental implants are placed, and will help create a stable and sufficient foundation for the dental implants.
